At a time when teacher leaders are required to act in their transformative practices, the question arises as to what pedagogical leadership styles converge in learning communities and what conditions stand out in them. Thus, the purpose of this research is to analyze the pedagogical leadership style and the conditions of the Professional Learning Communities (PLC) that predominate in a 2nd grade primary school teaching team in a public educational institution in Metropolitan Lima. To answer this question, a descriptive qualitative approach was used. The results affirm that characteristics of transformational leadership and distributed leadership interact in the PLC. It is evident that the supporting, social and essential conditions develop the ability to influence, enthuse, inspire, transmit confidence and respect towards other colleagues. Therefore, the PLC, the object of study, is perceived as a team of professional teacher leaders who support each other, who reflect to investigate and learn about new practices and knowledge, which is closely related to the characteristics of transformational leadership.
