Metropolitan Arequipa is affected by disordered urbanization that heavily lacks green spaces, increases pollution and reduces the agricultural terrain and platforms known as a whole as campiña. The loss of such live patrimony, agriculture and environmental mainstay of the city results in decrease of quality of life. Conjoined to mistreatment of its remains by throwing trash, debris, and theft of crops, makes evident the main involvement of citizenry in the same problem that distresses them; the predatory urbanization and deterioration of the campiña is attributed to the unawareness of its economic, environmental and social value and potential. The following investigation analyzes the interrelation of different agents in the problem and observes its impacts in the district of Cayma, to develop micro documentary videos that effectively inform and raise awareness, shared through social media and enabling action from home that consolidates it. From the graphic design field, quantifies the needs and means to mitigate the cause of the problem through a beneficial and enduring process; hence promote collective interest in preservation and reactivation of the campiña as key part of sustainable city growth, inclusive with farmers and urban residents alike.
