Education is one of the most important factors that drives the development of society, being preschool education the basis for the following educational stages in children. For this reason, the project called Play, Learn and Work (PLW) seeks to provide an accessible and innovative nursery and preschool service, based in the Montessori methodology, for children from different socioeconomic status through the participation of A-B sectors as a source of funding for the most vulnerable sectors. For the present project, we assessed the needs of parents regarding educational services for children between zero and five years old, concluding that cognitive, emotional, and social development was the most important skills for them. Furthermore, the pandemic allowed a new way of work, based on this, the project incorporates shared workspaces in the nursery for parents to work from the preschool and nursery facilities. From these findings and the use of a wide variety of agile methodologies, such us surveys, interviews, and simulations, it was possible to develop the preschool and nursery prototype, the marketing plan, the operations plan, the implementation schedule in order to support the viability of the project. PLW not only generates a financial NPV of more than S/4’000,312 in five years and a return on investment in the third year, but also a social NPV of S/ 8'610,264 in five years, confirming that it is a profitable, attractive, and sustainable project.
