This project aims to provide a solution to an existing social problem in the country that is youth unemployment. According to INEI figures, as of June 2023, the unemployment rate in Metropolitan Lima is 6.8%, registering a drop in employment among young people between 18 and 25 years of age by 11.0% compared to 2022 (INEI, 2023). The Atrae project aims to improve the employability of young people in the labor market, especially in the banking sector, through a web platform that provides training in financial services, personal skills and sales techniques. It seeks to reduce youth unemployment, promote personal and technical development, increase their income, and avoid poverty by obtaining employment. In addition, it is aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically SDG 8: decent work and economic growth and SDG 4: quality education. The project has been financially supported with three scenarios: pessimistic, expected and optimistic, taking into account social, current and economic factors at a global and national level, such as the exchange rate, inflation, the pandemic and political conflicts. The project has been shown to be financially viable, with an economic and financial NPV more than 1.6 million, an IRR of 40% and a TIRF of 77%, which exceeds the capitalization cost rates (WACC and Cost of Capital). In addition, it has a Social VAN of 800,000 dollars, which confirms its feasibility to be implemented and become a reality. The Atrae project offers an effective solution to address the difficulties young people have in obtaining employment in the financial sector, providing them with personalized training opportunities and contributing to economic and social development.
