After more than three decades of continuous implementation of neoliberal policies, society has undergone changes that have a common origin in the neoliberal appropriation of current cultural forms and hegemonic practices. We see the repercussions of this system, guided by market logic, everywhere: along the numerous and ever-present publicity ads on the media; the characteristics of individuals who are successful on social media and managed to be influencers; the flexibility of jobs that leads to precariousness and the glorification of productivity and work without rest. The young people of generation z, children who grew up with the internet and social media, are now the workers of the present and it is urgent to know the lead they follow in their lives, in order to re-think the issue within our society.
