The present investigation’s objective is to establish if there is a relation between the educational level of the parents and the understanding of the grammatical structures in their children. To this research, we ask for the participation of 118 children who were 4 and 5 years old. Children studied in different social economy pre-school. The sampling was not probabilistic divided in two groups. One group was formed by 60 children of a public school and the other group was formed by 58 children of a private school. The type of investigation was correlational and its design was transversal. We applied The CEG test (Grammatical Structures Comprehension). The information about the educational level of the parents were obtained from register files children. The investigation results concluded that there is a significant relation between the educational level of the parents and the grammatical structures comprehension in their children.
