This thesis is a proposed solution to reduce environmental pollution caused by waste generated daily by the fruit market in the district of San Luis. To the neighbors surrounding this market, living with the bad appearance of the large mounds of garbage that are deposited in the surroundings, which even increase vehicular traffic because they come to block the tracks; It not only causes them emotional discomfort, but also directly affects their health. Thus, Wayu was born, joining the trend of various market segments that prefer the products of companies with social responsibility, given the greater knowledge that exists about the disastrous consequences of environmental pollution on the planet in general. Our proposed solution is based on reducing the negative impact generated by waste from ripe fruit around the market; considering a second use by dehydrating them and turning them into a snack. Regarding the social value of our proposal, we are focused on improving the quality of life of the residents of the market, providing them with a real solution, reducing a daily ton of garbage that constantly affects them. On the other hand, Wayu snacks are sold mainly through minimarkets and supermarkets in Lima; and we will direct our brand to men and women between 25 and 40 years of age from socioeconomic sectors B, C and D. Finally, we demonstrate that this business project is financially sustainable, in addition to being viable and profitable, with a WACC of 8% and an Internal Rate of Return (IRR) of 131.82%, with a recovery period of 3 years.
