docentes.
Pedagogical accompaniment is a strategy that seeks to improve the educational practice of the teacher, it involves constructive work between the companion and the teacher during a certain period of time; this collaborative work not only involves professional learning inside and outside the classroom; but, due to the constant exercise of reflection, sometimes there is a change at a personal level in the accompanied teachers. In this sense, the research aims to investigate how pedagogical accompaniment influences teaching performance, and the question around this objective is: How does pedagogical accompaniment, seen as a strategy, influence the teaching performance of public school teachers in UGEL No. 01 and 06 in Metropolitan Lima? This study has a mixed approach and is of a quasi-experimental type. Two groups of State and preschool teachers were involved in this research: control group and intervention group, all of which were evaluated with the CLASS instrument, which measures the interactions that occur in the educational environment between the teacher and the children. On the other hand, the teachers who are part of the accompaniment program (control group) have been part of online meetings via zoom, making use of a semi-structured interview. The results show that the positive climate dimension of the CLASS assessment has been understood by the teachers, but there are internal and external factors that influence the practice and consistency of the markers of this dimension so that they do not reach their maximum level, as warned by the informants and teachers.
