The thesis presents a comprehensive proposal for improving the copper extraction process at the Toquepala II Concentrator Plant. Through an in-depth analysis that incorporates historical records, strategies, and projections, the overall situation of the company, its business model, internal and external context are thoroughly examined, providing a robust business diagnosis and pinpointing the central problem. The primary objective of this proposal is to enhance the efficiency and productivity of the company. To achieve this goal, specific proposals have been developed covering three crucial aspects: SWOT analysis, evaluation of historical productivity data, and a complexity and benefit matrix. The SWOT analysis focuses on identifying and capitalizing on strengths and opportunities while addressing weaknesses and mitigating threats. A strategic action plan is established to maximize identified opportunities and minimize potential risks. The evaluation of historical data aims to identify trends and patterns in the company's past productivity. Specific measures are proposed to improve efficiency and productivity, projecting these improvements into the future at the Toquepala II Concentrator. The complexity and benefit matrix is used to prioritize identified problems, highlighting the most critical ones and proposing concrete solutions. As the main solution, the implementation of flotation column cells in the Toquepala II Concentrator is suggested. A pre- feasibility analysis supports this proposal, confirming its short-term viability and efficiency. In summary, the proposal aims to be a significant catalyst for improving the efficiency and productivity of the Toquepala II Concentrator Plant. It is expected that the suggested measures will not only optimize strengths and minimize weaknesses but also allow for the exploitation of opportunities and the mitigation of external threats. This comprehensive approach ultimately aims to improve profitability and strengthen the company's position in the market.
