Assisted reproduction techniques are understood as those scientific and technological methods that are intended to help procreation when people suffer from natural biological limitations such as sterility and/or infertility, which in the case of marriage must always be carried out with the consent of both spouses, otherwise there would be a lack of consent and a possible damage to the party that did not give such consent, and this could result in divorce, either due to serious injury or dishonorable conduct. The main objective of the research is to identify the grounds for divorce in which heterologous insemination is subsumed without the consent of the spouse based on the basic principle of living together. The investigation was carried out through documentary observation, in which inductive, deductive, dogmatic, hermeneutical and dialectical methods have been used, which have been applied to obtain data and subsequent interpretation. Finally, in the present investigation it is sought to demonstrate that the grounds for divorce in which heterologous insemination is subsumed without the consent of the husband are dishonorable conduct or serious injury, because it is an evaluative question, whose task is concerning the jurisdictional authority, evaluating the particularities of the specific case.
