This thesis for work experience, relates the implementation of autonomous maintenance to improve the quality of service in the area of operations of the company J & S Ingenieros Consultores E.I.R.L. 2018 The problem that was identified was in the area of operations basically with the service provision of operative personnel, who currently works in a line of conversion of rolls of toilet paper, the main problem that was found were the end of the month claims, not the monthly production quota was met for different reasons, in which, through the elaboration of an Ishikawa diagram, the following causes were found, the most relevant point being labor (lack of knowledge in machine repair, delay in change of input, breach of the cleaning program, delay in replacement of spare parts, lack of communication) and the lack of methods (lack of lesson point, lack of center line, lack of inspection format, lack of manuals of machine operation , lack of detail of the cleaning program), these different causes caused the monthly non-compliance and therefore directly affected the utility. ad of the company. That is why the application of autonomous maintenance based on training, monitoring, evaluation, good habits, resulted in improving the time spent in: In stops for average machine cleaning per month from 1411 min in 2017 to 562 min in 2018. In stops by average operating regulations per month from 1985 min in 2017 to 775 min in 2018. In stops for average spare change per month from 115 min in 2017 to 38 min in 2018. In stops for change of polyethylene coils per month from 1355 min in 2017 to 472 min in 2018. The performance of the machines, began to improve, it was evidenced more order regarding the fulfillment of responsibilities in the work of the operators. Regarding the learning of autonomous maintenance, the staff feels more prepared thanks to the training obtained, which indicates that it is important to continue with the training, and continue with follow-up to the implemented plan of autonomous maintenance.
