The present work of investigation titled: “Analysis and comparison to the wear of stone material of quarry Bazán and Juancito for the use in accesses miners, Cajamarca 2018“, his general objective is to determine that quarry has the best stony material for the use in mining accesses , and as specific objectives, to identify the type of rock mass, RQD, RMR, Q (Burton) of each of the quarries, determine the percentage to wear by rubbing using the Micro Deval equipment, determine the specific weight and density of the rock of each quarry and perform the comparison of results to determine the best material for mining access. With the analysis and comparison of wear resistance by rubbing using the Micro Deval equipment, we were able to determine that Juancito quarry presents a 2.6% wear factor compared to a 2.4% of Bazán quarry, so it is concluded that there is not much variation with respect to the percentage of wear according to the ASTM 1972 standard. Finally, the comparison of results influences that the material with less wear is more optimal for the durability of the tracks generating a long term cost optimization.
