This research project proposes the design of an ecological and recreational park i n Trujillo city, to provide an equipment where people who value green areas and nature can perform recreation activities. Strategies of architectural sustainability and spatial integration are applied in this project. The methodological strategy had as its starting point the current problematic reality in different areas regarding the lack of equipment such as ecological and recreational parks that allow to integrate a city. As nowadays are seen deserted and fragmented cities in sectors, and areas heavily polluted by the lack of green areas. In addition, a research of various antecedents related with this project was carried out, indicating the relevance of the use of sustainable architecture strategies and spatial integration for the design of these equipments. Case analysis sheets were used to study them in detail and identify patterns of architectural design, sustainable architecture strategies and spatial integration that can be used in the architectural proposal, brought to the local context. The guiding idea is based on the guidelines obtained from the above mentioned studied cases and on sustainable architectural strategies such as the importance of the climatic conditions of the environment, saving resources and adapting to the context.
