ABSTRACT The present project of thesis graduate “DISEÑO DE UNA RED INALÁMBRICA UTILIZANDO TECNOLOGÍA MULTIPLE-INPUT MULTIPLE-OUTPUT (MIMO) PARA MEJORAR LA TRANSMISIÓN DE DATOS ENTRE EL PALACIO MUNICIPAL Y EL ALMACÉN GENERAL DE LA MUNICIPALIDAD PROVINCIAL DE TRUJILLO”, treats on the design of a wireless network using MIMO technology for it, since it is presented as a technology that allows to increase the transfer of information in a system of communications wireless. A description of the technology, his evolution and the advantages that it offers. The networks WLAN it is one of the fields of the telecommunications that interest has showed for this technology to be implemented in his equipments. One refers to the new standard for networks WLAN, the IEEE 802.11n and the differences that he presents with respect to other existing standards in his own family and the benefits that it will offer to the wireless local area networks.
