The generation of waiting lines or queues is a recurring problem in many companies that provide goods or services. The main objective of this thesis is to design a simulation system to reduce the waiting time for TCM medical evaluations at the Meditran Peru E.I.R.L. medical center. The type of research is applied, explanatory, quantitative and non-experimental, as a technique observation and documentary review were used, as an instrument the observation sheet and the summary sheet. Initially, a diagnosis of the current situation of the company was made based on the waiting time of the MTC medical evaluations, developing techniques and tools for system simulation. Thus, a queue waiting time per user of 245.48 minutes and an average attention time per user 333.18 minutes was obtained. Subsequently, the simulation of the system was designed that includes the 8 initial locations (reception, admission, laboratory analysis, psychological evaluation, visual evaluation, auditory evaluation, psychosensometric evaluation and clinical examination) plus an additional location that is the psychological evaluation area, as well The same, the entities, processing, arrivals and variables were designed. After simulating the proposed design, the reduction of the indicators of waiting time in queue per user from 245.48 minutes to 64.97 minutes and the average attention time per user from 333.18 minutes to 246.94 minutes, additionally with the proposed simulation model it is proposed serve 20 patients daily instead of 13 patients daily. Finally, based on the estimated savings of 35,400 soles per month, the economic, benefit-cost analysis of the proposed design was carried out, obtaining a value of 2.38 indicating that the benefits exceed the costs, therefore, the project must be considered.
