Abstract: El estudio tiene como objetivo determinar el estilo de vida de los estudiantes de Enfermería de una universidad privada, Los Olivos 2020. Metodología: Estudio cuantitativo, descriptivo, corte transversal y no experimental. La población censal estuvo comprendida de 439 estudiantes de enfermería de una universidad privada. La técnica fue la encuesta y el instrumento un cuestionario Nola Pender (PEPS – I) modificado por las autoras y validado mediante juicio de expertos con valor de Aiken 1.00 alcanzando un nivel de confiabilidad mediante de alfa de Cronbach de 0.886 con un nivel de confianza de 0.95%. Resultados: Los estilos de vida de los estudiantes de enfermería de una universidad privada califican de bueno en el 64.5% (256), seguido del 32.2%
(128) que calificaron como regular y el 3.3% (13) calificaron como malo. Conclusión: En los estudiantes de la carrera de enfermería de una universidad privada predomina un buen estilo de vida, sin embargo, en la dimensión de actividad física existe una tendencia negativa de 40,3% lo que indica que se inclinan por una vida sedentaria, asimismo, en las dimensiones de manejo del estrés – sueño y responsabilidad en salud al unir los porcentajes regular y malo aumentan el valor a más del 50% siendo un factor de riesgo para el estilo de vida saludables. En los valores sociodemográficos, el II ciclo represento 24% de la población total siendo este con más cantidad de alumnado y la edad comprendida varia de 21 a 31 años.
The objective of the study is to determine the lifestyle of Nursing students from a private university, Los Olivos 2020. Methodology: Quantitative, descriptive, cross-sectional and non-experimental study. The census population was comprised of 439 nursing students from a private university. The technique was the survey and the instrument a Nola Pender questionnaire (FIFO - I) modified by the authors and validated through expert judgment with a value of Aiken 1.00, reaching a level of reliability through Cronbach's alpha of 0.886 with a confidence level of 0.95%. Results: The lifestyles of nursing students from a private university rate as good in 64.5% (256), followed by 32.2% (128) who rate as fair and 3.3% (13) rate as bad. Conclusion: In nursing students from a private university, a good lifestyle predominates, however, in the physical activity dimension there is a negative trend of 40.3%, which indicates that they are inclined towards a sedentary life. In the dimensions of stress management - sleep and responsibility in health, by joining the regular and bad percentages, they increase the value to more than 50%, being a risk factor for a healthy lifestyle. In terms of sociodemographic values, the second cycle represented 24% of the total population, this being the largest number of students and the age range varied from 21 to 31 years.
