ABSTRACT The present report focuses on the investigation of the uses of Mathematical Applications, mainly Voronoi’s Diagram, as tools for the optimization of spatial occupation and distribution, space form management and its resulting spatiality and function. Setting the need for a level headed management based on international standards and requirements for this type of buiding, because of the necessity to implement this kind of infrastructure in other major cities of the country, such as it could be Trujillo city, all this in order to gain, spread and make the most of MICE tourism, which is a resource in current and constant growth around the world, from which we are not unconnected, but we have not the means and capacity needed for it, that is why we have a limited share of it. Therefor the purpose of this study is define How this Mathematical Applications, its aspects and possibilities could be applied in spatial occupation and distribution as architectural components of spatiality, especially in the design of a Convention Center which met the international standards already spoken of. On this research development the Voronoi’s Diagram was chosen as a matter of study because of its relationship with other fields of the architecture and because it is easier to implement. For this to be accomplished it was taken on count a Theorical Frame which suits the purpose and a few case studies in order to get an architectural solution, first hand it was set and study unit that analyzes Mathematical Applications in this case, Voronoi’s Diagrams, its aspects. And secondly a study unit that makes the selected case studies, approached in two different ways, the first one focuses on the type of building (Convention Center) and the second in cases that uses or applied the Voronoi’s Diagram on its design. At the end this units of study gave us the guides and methods for the implementation in the proposed Architectural Design and project. At the end, when the units were done and having accomplished an Architectonic Project, it was concluded that the hypothesis that points the use of Mathematical Applications optimizes spatial occupation and distribution and its possible use in a Convention Center project for Trujillo, was pertine
