In recent years, Peru has experienced considerable economic growth thanks to globalization and the private sector; However, inequality and social problems such as poverty still persist, especially in regions of the sierra, where the populations lack basic services, often due to the lack of governance and management of their regional governors, provincial and district mayors. For this reason, new alternatives or projects are being sought that encourage populations in poverty and extreme poverty to improve their well-being, as does the La Granja Social Fund, which seeks to finance programs and projects that contribute to the social development of the population. located in the areas of influence. In this sense, this research aimed to determine how the financial investment of the La Granja Social Fund influences the socioeconomic development of the beneficiary areas of the Querocoto district, Chota 2019. To make it possible, a non-experimental research design was used, from cross-sectional type and applied with a sample of 385 beneficiaries from the populated centers of La Granja and Paraguay, to whom a survey was applied for the variables, social financial investment and socioeconomic development, which allowed collecting the perceptions of the beneficiaries. they reviewed secondary sources such as standards analysis, performance reports, and management documents. Based on this, there was evidence of a correlation between social financial investment and socioeconomic development, since according to the Spearman correlation coefficient there is a positive relationship between social financial investment and economic development, since 0 <0.604 <1, at a level of significance of 5%. Likewise, this research identified the basic needs of the beneficiaries that have not been met through the financial investment of the La Granja social fund, for which some solution recommendations were provided to improve management and obtain the socioeconomic development of the beneficiary areas.
