Percepción del espectador sobre el discurso narrativo del cine distópico. Caso: película Contagio

Abstract

El cine cumple una función de transmitir mensajes a través del discurso narrativo de sus películas. Uno de ellos es el cine distópico, pues en sus relatos nos invita a reflexionar sobre posibles escenarios indeseables que la sociedad puede llegar a enfrentar. En base a ello, se planteó como objetivo analizar cómo el discurso narrativo del cine distópico influye en la percepción del espectador de 18 a 26 años en 2021. A través de la metodología cualitativa, se realizó un estudio de caso de la película Contagio, seleccionando como técnica la entrevista semiestructurada y como instrumento una guía de preguntas. Realizando las entrevistas a 13 personas que cumplan con el perfil requerido. A partir de ello, se logró encontrar que el discurso narrativo de la película Contagio tiene un grado de ficción, pero también está basado en contextos reales. Permitiendo que el espectador, a través de sus experiencias previas en una pandemia, pueda identificar ciertos hechos del film y lo relacione con los sucesos que ocurrieron durante el contexto del Covid-19. De esta manera, el film influencia y concientiza la percepción del público, haciendo que ellos adopten y mejoren aquellas acciones que visualizaron y lo apliquen en su realidad.

The cinema fulfills a function of transmitting messages through the narrative discourse of its films. One of them is dystopian cinema, because in its stories it invites us to reflect on possible undesirable scenarios that society can face. Based on this, the objective was to analyze how the narrative discourse of dystopian cinema influences the perception of the viewer from 18 to 26 years of age in 2021. Through qualitative methodology, a case study of the film Contagion was carried out, selecting the semi-structured interview as a technique and a question guide as an instrument. Interviewing 13 people who meet the required profile. From this, it was possible to find that the narrative discourse of the film Contagion has a degree of fiction, but it is also based on real contexts. Allowing the viewer, through their previous experiences in a pandemic, to identify certain facts of the film and relate it to the events that occurred during the context of Covid-19. In this way, the film influences and raises awareness of the public's perception, making them adopt and improve those actions that they visualized and apply it in their reality.
