ABSTRACT The present study was aimed at increasing the overall eco-efficiency by improving the environmental management of solid waste company Cartavio SAA All factors affecting the low eco-efficiency were evaluated, with the failure of the Environmental Solid Waste Management the general cause that encompasses all identified root causes. To identify improvements to propose Pareto diagrams were developed, causal analysis, based on the information provided by the company and the environmental assessment conducted by the author to the company Cartavio SAA Six (06) improvement proposals were presented: 1. Implement a training program to create awareness and culture in the Sound Management of RRSS 2. Properly Condition the Solid Waste Containers 3. Building a Solid Waste Storage, according to the Environmental Regulations Effective Legal 4. Suitable Solid Waste Segregation 5. Implement a program for the adequate maintenance (predictive and preventative) 6. Avoid Economic Injury Disposal of Hazardous RRSS not valued, Getting Income from Sale of Marketable RRSS These proposals will help to increase the eco-efficiency Cartavio SAA, as they attack the most vulnerable parts of the current environmental management RRSS from waste generation to final disposal, creating a culture of sound environmental management. The results achieved are: - Eco-efficiency was increased to a high level (above 70%) - It was shown that the eco-efficiency indicator varies according to the Environmental Impact Assessment for the generation of solid waste, it is measured by the percentage of compliance with current WFP. The impact of improvements in environmental waste management helped the company has an adequate management of waste, avoiding losses, legal violations, environmental fines and most importantly protect the environment and health of people.
