Centro de rehabilitación psicosocial con estrategias proyectuales desde la Neuroarquitectura para influir en la salud mental en Lima Sur

Abstract

La siguiente investigación recopila a través de una revisión bibliográfica conceptos de Neuroarquitectura y salud mental, con el objetivo de determinar cómo un Centro de Rehabilitación psicosocial diseñado desde el enfoque de la Neuroarquitectura, puede influenciar positivamente en la rehabilitación y alta del paciente con problemas de salud mental. Los hospitales especializados en psiquiatría en el Perú presentan una infraestructura obsoleta que no aporta al cuidado y rehabilitación del paciente, esto sumado a la brecha de atención en Lima Metropolitana y la poca importancia que tiene salud mental en el sector salud, son puntos que forman parte de la problemática que buscamos evidenciar. A nivel macro se ha tomado a Lima Sur, siendo el distrito de Villa El Salvador la unidad de estudio; sin embargo, la coyuntura relacionada a la pandemia imposibilita la toma de datos directos de sus pobladores. La metodología utilizada se basa en análisis de referencias internacionales con características arquitectónicas y constructivas relacionadas a la Neuroarquitectura, entrevistas a profesionales expertos en salud mental y arquitectura hospitalaria, y finalmente un análisis crítico cualitativo de los hospitales especializados en psiquiatría en el Perú. Como producto de esta investigación tenemos que el diseño de los nuevos hospitales no termina de ser el óptimo para lograr sumar a la recuperación y tratamiento del paciente.

The following research compiles, through a bibliographic review, concepts of Neuroarchitecture and mental health, with the aim of determining how a Psychosocial Rehabilitation Center designed from the Neuroarchitecture approach can be a positive influence to the rehabilitation of patients with mental health problems. Specialized hospitals in psychiatry in Peru have an obsolete infrastructure that does not patients rehabilitation and care, this added to the care gap in Metropolitan Lima and the poor importance that mental health has in the health sector, are points that are part of the problem that we seek to highlight. At the macro level, Lima Sur has been taken, with the district of Villa El Salvador being the study unit; however, the situation related to the pandemic makes it impossible to collect direct data from its population. The methodology used is based on this analysis of international references with architectural and constructive characteristics related to Neuroarchitecture, interviews with expert professionals in mental health and hospital architecture, and finally a qualitative critical analysis of hospitals specialized in psychiatry in Peru. As a product of this research we have that the design of the new hospitals are not optimal in order to add to the recovery and treatment of the patient.
