Currently, Banks in Peru are going through constant changes to satisfy needs of its users and achieve a greater market share, fidelizing them and attracting new customers. The quality of the banking service goes directly related to the disposition of the in-demand operations, as this is a decisive factor when choosing between a Company or another. The present investigation has a purpose, to design a simulation system to reduce the waiting time in the área of operations of the Interbank Company Cajamarca agency.This investigation began with the collection of data from the current behavior of the system through the study of timeand the use of tolos as: The Flow chart, The Analytical cursor of the Operator, The Matrix of identification problema and the Ishiwaka diagram. In this way, the main problems of the financial institution were identified and the modeling of the current attention system was developed with its main characteristic to reduce the time that customers are in the waiting queues.As a result of this study it was found that the current waiting time is prolonged and customers are dissatisfied mostly for tis inconvenience . With this data a second simulation was performed altering the real components to provide alternatives for improvement.With the proposal to increase an operator it is possible to reduce significantly the waiting time in queues from 24 minutes to 2 minutes, which represents an alternative solution to the problem identified. Likewise, a financial economic assessment was carried out to determine the feasbility of the proposed improvement.Finally, it is recommendedin subsequent research deemed the simulation system applied in other agencies that do not present a system of queues to increase the quality of service modifying different properties without affecting the real system.
