This thesis aims to analyze the communicational characteristics proposed by the advertising message of the video clip 'Cholo Soy', by MiBanco, in relation to elements of Peruvian cultural identity: addressed to the target audience of our days: the entrepreneur. The visual language of the video clip was described by shots, identifying elements of cultural identity present. It was taken as reference to the elements established by Kowalski (2002): Universal Humans: Emotions, Values and Social Constructs, Group Associations. Likewise, an analysis of the communicational process was carried out applying the model of Umberto Eco (1986). The results allow us to conclude that the impact of the video clip is achieved both by the dynamic rhythm of the colours and planes in a multiplicity of takes; the complete relationship with the music and lyrics of the emblematic song 'Cholo Soy' transformed into a socially positive message. Above all, for the intelligent and effective use of elements of cultural identity typical of the new target: the enterprising cholo, in his human group, his beliefs, values and hopes. The videoclip makes the slogan “For a new version of Peru“ an objective. The message is reinforced and achieves a complete identification of the target audience thanks to a vision of optimism and success.
