Incidencia de los procesos de almacenamiento y distribución de inventarios en la rentabilidad de la empresa Representaciones Santa Apolonia S. A. C. Trujillo - Perú 2017

Abstract

La gestión de inventarios tiene un papel importante en los procesos logísticos de toda empresa, a través de ella se busca lograr la eficiencia en el control de inventarios de las áreas que se encuentran involucradas, con el objetivo de brindar productos de calidad a los clientes y generando rentabilidad en la empresa. En la actualidad las empresas familiares constituyen un grupo de empresas que gestionan sus inventarios de manera empírica, lo cual les sirvió en sus inicios, pero las empresas tienden a crecer y con ello el control de los inventarios debe de ser más preciso, debido a la mayor cantidad de productos que fluyen por los almacenes de la empresa. Al no contar con un adecuado control de inventarios la empresa puede verse afectada por faltantes de inventarios, deterioro por prácticas inadecuadas al momento de ser cargados, desmedro de los productos perecibles, perjudicando de manera directa la rentabilidad de la empresa.

El presente trabajo de investigación se realizó para demostrar que, la ausencia de políticas de control de inventarios en los procesos de almacenamiento y distribución tiene incidencia en la rentabilidad de la empresa Representaciones Santa Apolonia SAC.; la recolección de información se basó en la realización de encuestas en las áreas de Almacén y Distribución, lo que permitió realizar un análisis de la situación actual en el que se observó que existen deficiencias tales como: la ausencia de inventarios periódicos, almacenamiento de productos sin respetar los límites de apilado, falta de control en los productos que tienen fecha de vencimiento, además del orden y limpieza en las diferentes ambientes del almacén, con respecto a las deficiencias en el área de Distribución se observó que un aumento en el incumplimiento de los pedidos a los clientes. Así mismo se comprobó a través del indicador de rentabilidad Margen de Utilidad Neta, la disminución de la utilidad neta de los ejercicio 2017 y 2016. Por lo tanto en base a los resultados encontrados, se concluye que los procesos de almacenamiento y distribución de inventarios tienen incidencia en la rentabilidad de la empresa Representaciones Santa Apolonia SAC.

The inventory management has an important role in the logistical processes of any enterprise, through it enterprises want to reach the efficiency in the management of inventory of the areas that are involved, with the objective of bringing high quality products to their clients and generating profit for the business. Currently, family businesses constitute a group of enterprises that manage their inventory in an empiric way, which was useful at the beginning of the business, but enterprises tend to get bigger and with it the control of the inventory must be more precise, due to the high quantity of products that flow through their warehouses. With the lack of an adequate inventory control, the enterprise can be affected by missing inventories, deterioration because of inadequate practices at the moment of storing the products, and depletion of perishable products, prejudicing directly the profit of the enterprise. The present research of investigation was made for demonstrating that, the absence of control inventory politics in the processes of storing and distribution has an incidence in the profit of the enterprise: “Representaciones Santa Apolonia S.A.C.”; the recollection of information was based in the surveys made in the areas of Store and Distribution, that let to analyze the current situation in which was observed that there are deficiencies as: the absence of periodic inventories, storing of products without respecting the piling limits, lack of control of the products that have expiration, and the organizing and cleaning of the different areas of the warehouse, about the deficiencies in the area of Distribution it was observed that there was an increase in the breach of the clients orders. In addition, it was demonstrated through the cost effectiveness of Net Profit Margin, the decrease of the net profit of the periods 2017 and 2016. Thus, based on the results found, it is concluded that the storing processes and distribution of the inventories have an incidence in the Cost Effectiveness of the enterprise “Representaciones Santa Apolonia S.A.C.”.
