The investigation “IMPROVEMENT OF THE CLOSING PROCESS TO INCREASE THE VALORIZATION OF THE REAPERTURAS IN THE SEDAPAL DE COMAS CONTRACTOR - YEAR 2018“ was carried out in its process of Closing and Reopening Contractor CONSORCIO EULEN SSGG AND ACCIONA AGUA SAU in the district of COMAS ; Its main objective of this research is based on: Propose an improvement plan in the reduction of non-quality costs in the operational activities of closures in order to improve productivity and increase the value of the reopening of drinking water of the contractor of SEDAPAL de Comas in 2018. The development of this research is based on theoretical and conceptual aspects as well as the use of tools and methodologies to improve quality processes. In this way, the use and development of the PHVA methodology is considered, which has allowed its development to carry out an analysis as well as implement the improvement in the process of closures and reopenings of the Contractor. On the other hand, in the analysis of the critical factors of non-quality it has been possible to use the tool of the Ishikawa diagram, segmentation of the process and the Pareto diagram; with the use of these tools, it was possible to determine the non-quality factors with greater incidence in the process of closing and reopening Contractor. According to the development of the investigation, we can mention that the contractor executed in the year 2017 a total of 310,830.00 simple closures, as well as a total of 242,573 simple reopenings valued at the time for the amount of S /. 2'071,573.42 Soles. Likewise, it was found that due to deficiencies in the development of the closing activity, the Contractor stopped performing a total of 68,257 single closures that same year; leaving the total amount of S /. 582,914.78 Soles. With the above explanation, we can say that the Contractor in the year 2017 has had an inefficiency in the execution of the closing activity of 22%. Finally, in order to obtain a greater scope, a projection of the economic impact has been carried out with the implementation of the improvement for the year 2018; With this improvement, a new valuation is planned in reopenings for the S /. 2,393,360.62 soles. Likewise, it has been possible to reduce the costs and expenses in the factors of non-quality in the development of the closing activity for the amount of S / .1,599,360.64 Soles, to which the operative expenses of the ineffective closings are being considered, expenses operatives in closed service reviews and personnel roster. As we can see, this economic impact is significant, which will contribute to the finances and / or income of the Contractor.
