Implementación de la técnica Lean 5S para optimizar la gestión del almacén de productos terminados en una empresa de confección de prendas interiores, 2022

Abstract

La presente investigación fue realizada en una empresa dedicada a la comercialización de prendas interiores, durante años ha podido ofrecer a sus clientes una variedad de modelos. El objetivo principal fue determinar el impacto de la implementación de la técnica Lean 5S en la gestión del almacén de productos terminados en una empresa de confección de prendas interiores. La investigación tiene un enfoque cuantitativo, diseño no experimental, corte longitudinal y no probabilístico. Para la metodología, se realizó un diagnóstico de la situación actual de la empresa mediante el Diagrama de Pareto e Ishikawa, también, se determinó la influencia de esta implementación en la reducción del tiempo promedio de picking en el almacén de productos terminados y se estimó el posible beneficio económico que se obtendría con esta implementación. Se utilizaron instrumentos como, cuestionarios y fichas de registro para recolectar datos. Los resultados fueron, la reducción del tiempo promedio de picking y el costo de almacenamiento en el proveedor pasando de 19.24 min a 14.76 min. y de S/.219.59 a S/.51.5 respectivamente. Se concluyó que esta implementación impactó positivamente en la gestión de este almacén ya que redujo el tiempo promedio de picking y el costo de almacenamiento en el proveedor.

The present investigation was carried out in a company dedicated to the commercialization of underwear, for years it has been able to offer its clients a variety of models. The main objective was to determine the impact of the implementation of the Lean 5S technique in the management of the finished products warehouse in an undergarment manufacturing company. The research has a quantitative approach, non-experimental design, longitudinal cut and non-probabilistic. For the methodology, a diagnosis of the current situation of the company was made through the Pareto and Ishikawa Diagram, also, the influence of this implementation in the reduction of the average picking time in the finished products warehouse was determined and the possible economic benefit that would be obtained with this implementation. Instruments such as questionnaires and registration forms were used to collect data. The results were the reduction of the average picking time and the cost of storage in the supplier, going from 19.24 min to 14.76 min. and from S/.219.59 to S/.51.5 respectively. It was concluded that this implementation had a positive impact on the management of this warehouse, since it reduced the average picking time and the cost of storage at the supplier.
