The present investigation intends to analyze to what extent the socioeconomic level of the patients affects their level of satisfaction with respect to the care they receive in a hemodialysis clinic in the city of Cajamarca. To do this, the socioeconomic level and satisfaction variables were analyzed, the dimensions were determined for each variable and at the same time, it was observed how both variables were related. The population with which we worked was patients who are in stage 5 of chronic kidney disease in need of a procedure called hemodialysis. The clinic where this research was carried out, is a clinic specializing in hemodialysis, which is located in the city of Cajamarca and has a single location, which has an agreement with Minsa and the National Police to provide the hemodialysis service to their patients. patients affiliated by the SIS (comprehensive health insurance) and SaludPol (Health Insurance Fund of the National Police of Peru), in turn, also serves patients who do not have any of these insurance and fully cover their expenses, these patients are called individuals. The method to be used was the deductive method, using the survey technique, which was carried out through a survey form for the aforementioned patients. Taking into account the results obtained, it is recommended that all users of any socio-economic level not only have to reach the satisfaction of a service through superficial indicators, but before making use of a service they should be more thoroughly informed of their advantages and disadvantages. This is even more important in the health services where a bad practice of medicine can bring serious, irreversible and even fatal consequences.
