The objective of this research was to determine the relationship between eating disorders and self-concept in women students of one pre-university academy in Trujillo; through a correlational design, whereby 211 female students from pre-university academies in the city of Trujillo were evaluated, whose ages ranged from 15 years to 21 years. The following questionnaires were used: “Eating Disorders Inventory - EDI 3“ and the “Self-concept test - Form 5“. The results obtained, its can be seen that there is a highly significant inverse moderate relationship (p <0.01) between the variables of eating behavior disorders and self-concept. That's concluded that there is an inverse relationship between the dimensions of eating behavior disorders and the dimensions of self-concept.
