ABSTRACT The present research project, refers to the Proposal for Improvement in the processes of dynamite processing, in the grinding area in the company Exsa S.A, to improve Productivity; Being of great importance since it will solve problems of processes within this company. It is known that in the business field we could define business productivity as the result of the actions that must be carried out to achieve the objectives of the company and a good working environment, taking into account the relation between the resources that are invested to reach The objectives and the results thereof. To analyze this research topic, it is necessary to mention the causes, which are mainly based on solving problems of information standardization, generation of losses, lack of order and cleanliness; among others; Using lean manufacturing tools, such as the 5 S, SMED, Work Standardization, Value Flow Map, as well as the OEE (General Equipment Efficiency), which allowed us to evaluate the way of work that is used in the Plant Of Exsa SA The main results were the quantification of shrinkage in the month of January and July of year 2016 the company Exsa S.A. Which originated an analysis of the production of the company to minimize the losses, also agenciándonos of indicators for the improvement of processes where a plan for the elaboration of the Standardization of documents of critical processes, the application of the 5 S and the realization Of OEE indicator Overall Equipment Effectiveness; These results will give us the confidence to carry out the Proposal for Improvement in the dynamite processing processes in the grinding area Exsa S.A. To improve productivity. Finally, it is concluded that this research work that presents a proposal for improvement, will contribute both to the authors and to the company to grow professionally and generate profits in this sector of the industries. The following chapters are presented below. The first chapter describes the background, the problematic reality, the formulation of the problem, the justifications and the objectives. In the second chapter, we describe Lean manufacturing tools that allow us to minimize the waste that exists in the grinding area. In the third chapter, the current situation of the milling area, the flow chart and the application of the Lean tools will be mentioned. The fourth and final chapter will detail the impact of the application of Lean Manufacturing tools in the dynamite processing process.
