The general objective of this research is to determine the architectural characteristics of the areas of psychomotor stimulation that can satisfy the needs of lighting and thermal comfort of patients in the design of a Gerontological Center in the district of Cajamarca. The type of research is non-experimental, descriptive and transversal, so we studied various characteristics of psychomotor stimulation that meet the needs of light and thermal comfort of patients to apply in the design of a Centro Gerontological in Cajamarca, these factors will contribute to the reduction of stress, anxiety, glare, headache, stress, tension, etc. This is based on the study and analysis of cases of different cases of central From whose result it could be determined that in Cajamarca there is no such centers, and that exists, does not have the environments that an older adult requires, as are the spaces that stimulate the user's psychomobility with good lighting and thermal comfort , as this shows the quality of lighting and temperature. Consequently, this research proposes the application of the characteristics of the spaces of psychomotor stimulation that satisfy the necessities of light and thermal comfort of the patients in a center gerontological.
