Burnout syndrome is a cause determined by emotional exhaustion, depersonalization and low sense of personal fulfillment that generally occurs in the work environment of those workers who provide care to patients or users. Burnout is generated as a consequence of the constant emotional preoccupation created in order to relate satisfactorily among other people who need it. The aim of this research was to determine the level and dimension of the Burnout syndrome after the SARS Covid 19 virus pandemic, in the nursing staff of the Laura Rodriguez Maternal and Child Center of the District of Comas. For this purpose, we have used a quantitative research methodology design and descriptive cross-sectional method, the sample population was 102 people, made up of nursing graduates and technicians, the type of sampling was selected by decision of the researcher and the instrument applied was the Maslach Burnout Inventory questionnaire. The results determined the dimension and level of physical, emotional and work-related aggravation of the nursing staff, which were: 1.25% low (low personal realization), 58.75% medium (depersonalization) and 40% high (emotional exhaustion). The nursing personnel presented a medium level of Burnout Syndrome; in its emotional exhaustion dimension a low level was found; in the depersonalization dimension a high level and finally in its personal realization dimension a high level of Burnout Syndrome respectively.
