Fundamentos de estimulación psicomotriz aplicados al diseño de un centro residencial geriátrico en el distrito de Trujillo – 2019

Abstract

El presente proyecto tiene como objetivo general establecer espacios de estimulación psicomotriz para el diseño de un Centro Residencial Geriátrico en el distrito de Trujillo, y además que, estos espacios satisfagan las necesidades de los adultos mayores y los ayuden en su proceso de tratamiento. Se investigó a detalle las diversas características de la estimulación psicomotriz para aplicarlos en el diseño de un Centro Residencial Geriátrico, estas características aportaran con la pérdida de distintos problemas que los adultos mayores padecen debido a su misma edad, como el estrés y la ansiedad. En el distrito de Trujillo se detectó que no existe este tipo de centros especializados en el cuidado netamente del adulto mayor, solo existe un asilo, pero este no cuenta con los espacios adecuados que estimulen la psicomotricidad, por lo tanto, es necesario este tipo de centro para tratar los distintos problemas de los adultos mayores.

The purpose of this project is to establish psychomotor stimulation spaces for the design of a Geriatric Residential Center in the Trujillo district, and also that these spaces meet the needs of the elderly and help them in their treatment process. The various characteristics of psychomotor stimulation were investigated in detail to apply them in the design of a Geriatric Residential Center, these characteristics will contribute to the loss of different problems that older adults suffer due to their age, such as stress and anxiety. In the district of Trujillo, it was detected that there are no such specialized centers in the care of the elderly, there is only one asylum, but this does not have adequate spaces that stimulate psychomotor skills, therefore, this type of center to treat the various problems of older adults.
