The main objective of executing this research is to design an inventory management model to improve the availability of materials and supplies at the company Dial Constructores S.R.L. It was carried out using descriptive and quantitative methodological methods, using the control register and questionnaire as instruments. In the results, we carried out an analysis of the current inventory management processes and the availability of materials and supplies that the company presents, obtaining as a main result the lack of control in inventory management that generated different weaknesses such as: delays in service, product losses, inappropriate locations, tight spaces. As a solution, we designed an inventory management model, which consists of designing inventory policies, ABC classification, internal warehouse distribution, location and product coding, as well as a 5S implementation manual. The projection is to have a record of 100% of materials and supplies, reduce service time by 57%, increase empty spaces by 15% and also the loss of materials and supplies will decrease by 4%. Likewise, we have calculated the cost benefit of the design, obtaining as a result an investment of S /. 51 730.00, which was evaluated in a 12-month period where the investment amounts to S /. 41,384.00, there is also a loss of S /. 49,563,047, so the B / C ratio is 1.20, which means that the implementation can be validated.
