Propuesta de mejora en el área de logística para reducir costos operativos en la empresa Curtiembre Ecológica del Norte E. I. R. L.

Abstract

La presente tesis tuvo como finalidad reducir los costos operativos en la Curtiembre Ecológica del Norte E.I.R.L. a través de la propuesta de mejora en el área de logística. Como primer paso, se realizó el diagnóstico de la situación actual de la Curtiembre Ecológica del Norte E.I.R.L. del cual se seleccionó el área de logística, puesto que se diagnosticó que era el área de mayor importancia problemática en cuanto a costos y ocasionaba altos costos en la empresa. Como segundo paso, después de la etapa de la identificación de los problemas, se procedió a redactar el diagnóstico de la Curtiembre Ecológica del Norte E.I.R.L., en el cual se tomó en cuenta todos los problemas que se evidenciaron en el área de logística con el fin de cuantificar monetariamente dichos problemas. Se determinó que el impacto económico que generan en la Curtiembre Ecológica del Norte E.I.R.L. representa una pérdida monetaria de S/ 114,080.33 anuales. Como tercer paso, la propuesta de mejora para el área de logística contiene metodologías y herramientas de la ingeniería industrial que permiten mejorar la gestión logística y reducir los sobrecostos en la Curtiembre Ecológica del Norte E.I.R.L. Logrando así un beneficio anual de S/ 81,565.21 anuales. Finalmente, se presentará un análisis de los resultados para poder corroborar con datos cuantitativos las evidencias presentadas y así lograr, con la propuesta de mejora en el área de logística en la Curtiembre Ecológica del Norte E.I.R.L. reducir los costos operativos. Se tuvo como resultado un VAN de S/ 369,839.25, un TIR 40.74% y un B/C de 2.29.

The purpose of this thesis was to reduce operating costs in the Ecological Tannery of the North E.I.R.L. through the improvement proposal in the logistics area. As a first step, a diagnosis of the current situation of the Ecological Tannery of the North E.I.R.L. From which the logistics area was selected, since it was diagnosed as the most important problem area in terms of costs and caused high costs in the company. As a second step, after the stage of identifying the problems, the diagnosis of the Ecological Tannery of the North EIRL was drawn up, in which all the problems that were evidenced in the logistics area were taken into account in order to to quantify these problems monetarily. It was determined that the economic impact generated in the Ecological Tannery of the North E.I.R.L. represents a monetary loss of S / 114,080.33 per year. As a third step, the improvement proposal for the logistics area contains industrial engineering methodologies and tools that allow improving logistics management and reducing cost overruns in the Ecological Tannery of the North E.I.R.L. Thus achieving an annual benefit of S / 81,565.21 per year. Finally, an analysis of the results will be presented in order to corroborate the evidence presented with quantitative data and thus achieve, with the proposal for improvement in the logistics area in the Ecological Tannery of the North E.I.R.L. reduce operating costs. The result was a NPV of S / 369,839.25, an IRR of 40.74% and a B / C of 2.29.
