ABSTRACT This research proposal aims to reduce the number of corrective maintenance and improve maintenance processes, in order to reduce the number of corrective maintenance and improve service processes in its four locations (Cajamarca, KM 24, quinoa and Km 45), also in electricity, plumbing, carpentry and civil works. The project was developed with information obtained by the company in the north, the period of 2014 and 2015, the information was the basis for initiating this project, where techniques will be applied as process diagrams, then the shortcomings analyzed operational process so that a diagram was constructed cause - effect where the main causes that affect the process by increasing the number of corrective maintenance, which allowed to have a clear idea of the origin of the problem and solution was obtained. The proposal was structured to reduce the number of corrective maintenance, which was formed to design a plan of preventive maintenance, personnel training and minimal Stock of materials in warehouses. As a result of this investigation it was determined that 100% of the number of service orders served in four locations, 53% belong to the corrective maintenance and 47% for preventive maintenance, causing service delays and unexpected stops the teams. Successfully reducing by 10% the number of corrective maintenance in the first quarter of 2015 period. The results for each of the locations after the proposal was corrective maintenance in the following proportion, location: Cajamarca, corrections of 53% to 45%; KM 24, corrections of 59% to 42%; Quinoa, corrections of 54% to 42%; 45 km corrective from 49% to 44%; results in the first quarter 2015.
