The main objective of the present study was to determine the relationship between the dimensions of Ambivalent Sexism and Attitude of violence towards women in psychology students at a private University of Lima Norte, 2020. The focus of this research is quantitative, design correlational, non-experimental, cross-sectional subtype and non probability sampling was used. The sample consisted of 80 psychology students from a private university in North Lima. The technique used was the survey and the data collection instruments were the Ambivalent Sexism Inventory (ASI) tests and the Attitude Scale of Violence against Women in a Relationship (VM). According to our results, it is obtained that there is a relationship between hostile sexism and an attitude of violence towards women, presenting a significant correlation of (p = 0.00 <α = 0.05), so that it is positive and moderate (Rho = 0.576). Benevolent sexism and attitudes of violence towards women presenting a significant correlation (p = 0.00 <α = 0.05) with a moderate level (Rho = 0.591). With the exception of the relationship between benevolent sexism and the dimension of violence as a medium, which did not present a significant correlation (p = 0.241> α = 0.05).
