ABSTRACT: This investigation was a Not Experimental study and the Correlational - Transversal desing was used. The objective was to find the relationship between Burnout Syndrome and the Pattern of Conduct A, in a population contained by 423 elementary teachers at seven state schools in the district of La Esperanza, of which, a representative sample of 202 , that was obtained by the stratified sample formula . Moreover, The Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI) and The Type A Self-Rating Inventory, by Blumenthal were used. Also, The SPSS 21 Statistics software was implemented for the data processing, then, the spearman's rank correlation coefficient was implemented. The results were: The 37,1% had average level of exhaustion, 35,1 average level of personal fulfillment. The 45.5% of the teachers had average level at pattern of conduct A. The conclusion was that there is not relationship between Burnout Syndrome and the Pattern of Conduct A. However, there is a statistically direct relationship between the dimension of despersonalization of burnout syndrome and the Pattern of Conduct A. . KEYWORDS: Burnout syndrome, Pattern of Conduct A
