The present work had as general objective, the implementation of a distribution management to reduce the costs of rescheduling orders of a company that sells office supplies and articles in the year 2021. The development started by making a diagnosis of the situation of the company, in which we found that, in the distribution area, there was a high cost of rescheduling, generating negative impacts on the company's profitability. For this, tools such as Ishikawa diagram, Pareto, approval of transport providers were used. In addition, an authorization of loading docks and implementation of a quality control process. With this, we were able to determine the resources that we were going to need, the changes and improvements to be made, such as enabling two more docks for the distribution area that allow us to reduce loading hours by two hours, the approval of suppliers to have fewer rescheduling due to responsibility of the carrier, finally, with the new quality control process, we were able to reduce rescheduling due to non-compliance by the production area. It is concluded that freight expenses incurred due to rescheduling were reduced by 5% and the delivery effectiveness indicator improved from 94% to 98%.
