ABSTRACT The objective of this thesis is to define, diagnose, propose and evaluate improvements to optimize the Inka table water treatment process, in order to determine its influence on the reduction of suspended metals in the table waters of said company, since That is their deficiency that serves as a support for the improvement proposal. The investigation is descriptive and Correlational. This study is not experimental, as an interview guide procedure was conducted to know general data and specifically the process of water treatment carried out by this company. For which a sample was taken which was evaluated in a certified laboratory, this study shows high values above the maximum permissible limits according to Digesa, in 12 of the 34 metallic elements analyzed in the laboratory, by type of plasma optical emission spectrometry induced (ISP); the deficiencies of the process are identified, finding that the plant does not have the necessary processes or equipment as well as adequate maintenance, therefore, a design is proposed including reverse osmosis and a reject recirculation system to optimize water quality, The budget for the implementation was also determined, which amounts to S / 46241.60, which if applied, the investment would return in 2 years whose Benefit - Cost index is 2.56, therefore the project is viable. Keywords: Process, table water, suspended metals
