The aim of this research was to find out the perception of accessibility of health services for women in the Shipibo-Konibo community in Cantagallo in the year 2021. A qualitative approach and a hermeneutic phenomenological design were used. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with a sample of 12 women from the Shipibo-Konibo community in Cantagallo, Rimac, and data analysis was complemented with the specialised software Atlas ti 9.1. The results suggest that in the Shipibo-Konibo community of Cantagallo health services are accessible due to their geographic location, the availability of services and the health personnel who provide them. It was concluded that the implementation of health facilities in indigenous communities extends the coverage of services. However, it should be taken into account that the main barriers to access to health care are related to factors such as time, geographic location, income, continuity of service, poor knowledge of ethnic and cultural diversity, and the quality of treatment provided by health care providers.
