ABSTRACT This research aimed to analyze and establish the influence of demographic characteristics to the permanence of the operating personnel of the agricultural field under consideration in view of the decline of this indicator over the past four years until 2014. The methodology that was considered adequate for the study was applicative type, not experimental and transversal. Collecting census information from the study population (field workers), digital document review of demographic characteristics, data logging, analysis of the characteristics, analysis of permanence, codification of the variables and was used as research methods application binary logistic model (Logit). Product of the results was determined that the demographic characteristics that are most statistically significant with the permanence of the operating personnel of the agricultural enterprise in the study are: age, marital status and membership of housing; They were discarded and gender, level of education, dependents and distance company. Based on Based on demographic characteristics found, associated with the permanence of the operating personnel it is possible to use an equation to predict the likelihood of their tenure with the company.
