Market development has brought changes in the consumption of goods and services due to better management of information, the emergence of electronic money and the advent of mobile devices connecting to the Internet. Because of this, the consumer has changed the concept of location portability, creating a new behavior. This coupled with the emergence of a middle class unbanked using Internet and is susceptible to be integrated into e-commerce, gives us the opportunity to enter into a new virtual market that is expanding and not yet reached the stage of maturity in Latin America . In this scenario the business idea of a virtual gift shop called arises: “1obsequio.comʺ; oriented segments B and C of the city of Trujillo, which is made up of people who work and who do not have enough time to go out and buy a gift for a special occasion, or are abroad and wish to convey a present to their families who reside in this city. Also according to studies, indicate that 28.1% of the total e-business category are oriented gifts, presenting ideal to start an online business circumstances, but to be successful you need to have differentiators that allow us to compete in the market, such as: 1. The power to order any time of day and delivered first thing the next day within the province of Trujillo. 2. The payment option to deliver the product. 3. The advisory service when choosing a product. Another key point is that Trujillo has a population of 377,783 inhabitants, with an annual growth of 1.27% of which 39% belong to the segment B and C and are considered economically active population; so it has a potential market of approximately 128,778 and 81,760 available market consumers. Also you are looking at a target market of consumers for the first 49,598 years. Cost studies and economic evaluation of VNA give us a TIR S/.1, 654,097 and 200.9%; with a cost of capital of 9%. This project has an evaluation horizon and capital payback period of 5 years and an investment of S/.151, 277; but because it is an online store full costs are lower than those that require a physical.
