ABSTRACT The objective of this thesis is to determine the characteristics of the associativity of oca producers of José Sabogal province of San Marcos - department of Cajamarca that enable the development of the oca baby food and its export to the German market. It was determined that the characteristics that will allow the export of the oca baby food “OQUIBABY“, are the team work, the trust, the mutual commitment and the good production with which the Cajamara market counts for the supply of raw material for the elaboration of oca baby food. The current treaty with the European Union, in which Germany, our destination market an active member, gives us benefits and facilities for exporting it. Also the huge demand for healthy products that exists in Germany benefits the acceptance of our product. To develop the research, bibliographic material was revised, in addition to the conduction of surveys to 15 oca producers and the interview to an expert on tuber production. This data collection process gave us the base of the study and investigation variables. The business plan to export ocabased baby food is viable when obtaining an economic NPV of S /. 340,370 and an economic IRR of 49.43%, a financial NPV of S /. 271,066 and a financial IRR of 87.69%, that results in a selling price of 2 euros o $2.26.
