The objective of this research was to determine to what extent the impact of the proposal of an Inventory Management System and processes increases the profitability of the company INGECOM S.A.C. in the city of Trujillo - La Libertad, Period 2018 - 2020. The type of research is applied and the design is diagnostic and propositive. The tools applied and defined are: 5'S, Procedures Manual, Kardex, ABC Classification, PHVA Cycle. Likewise, the proposal has an investment of S/. 7,097.50 and a benefit of S/.8,073.65. With the Procedures Manual, it was possible to improve the development of the company's processes, as well as the development of the activities of the warehouse and purchasing personnel, achieving a reduction in delay times (with internal responsibility of the company) calculated in 190 minutes per day. With the 5'S we were able to reduce from S/836.22 to S/. 61.51 the loss due to the lack of criteria in the organization. With the Kardex and ABC Classification it was possible to eliminate the costs calculated for the root cause (lack of Kardex for products, materials and supplies) obtaining a benefit of S/4,322.59. Finally, with the PHVA cycle, the percentage of quotations sent on time increased from 35% to 69%. The improvement proposal achieved an internal rate of return (IRR) of 91.67%, an NPV valued at S/68,281.94, which shows that the project is profitable and the B/C is 5.05, demonstrating the viability of the project. Finally, the profitability ratio indicators showed that the sales margin increased from 13.12 to 15.10 and the economic profitability, which represents the net profit over total assets, increased from 51.19% to 58.92%.
