Companies constantly seek to obtain competitive advantages to improve their profitability and be sustainable over time, this also occurs in Perú, here companies are still far from the global productivity benchmarks, due to the lack of improvement of the productive processes. In this context, the objective of this research was to determine the relationship between Lean Manufacturing through the implementation of its different tools for the improvement of production processes and productivity expressed as Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) in large manufacturing companies in Perú. The study was of the correlational type, with a non-experimental cross-sectional design, which used non-probabilistic sampling. A sample of 24 manufacturing companies from all over Perú was used. The survey through a questionnaire was used as a data collection technique, to measure the level of maturity of the tools that make up Lean Manufacturing and the impact that these had on the productivity of the companies studied in terms of Overall Equipment Effectiveness. The statistical correlation analysis presented a value of P 0.000 which allows establishing that, if there is a relationship between Lean Manufacturing and productivity expressed as Overall Equipment Effectiveness in the companies studied, additionally the analysis gave as a result a Spearman rho coefficient of 0.842, determining that the existing relationship is direct and significant. This allows us to conclude that the companies studied had a positive and significant impact on productivity through the implementation of Lean Manufacturing tools.
