Due to the great neglect of people and lack of ecological culture, a problem that is affecting our environment and the global world is presented. We refer to environmental pollution. This is why the present work deals with the architectural design of a Recycling and Composting Center, with two variables that are: Environmental Quality Criteria and Green Roofs, which are relevant to the research topic. The work will be developed in a descriptive way, starting from case analysis relevant to the subject and then determine conclusions that serve the research. A number of tools for data and information collection were also used. Having as a result the following design guidelines: Presence of gardens, verandas and vertical landscaped ramps; Use of skylights; Presence of large windows with transparent crystals, translucent polycarbonate and curtain wall; Use of central atria; Presence of crossinduced and induced ventilation; Adequate solid waste management, through separate treatment plants according to function; Use of concrete retaining walls, drywall and bolted structure system; Use of vegetation on roofs; Presence of slope in roofs; Rainwater harvesting system, with adequate treatment so that the water is recycled; Use of open spaces; Vertical vegetation; Use of materials of the area and design of urban spaces.
