In the present, the analysis of the Value Stream Mapping and Last Planner methodology was carried out in the optimization of the workforce in multifamily housing projects, according to the results of published research from national and international university repositories carried out in the last decade. With the information collected we made three sheets: Research, time results, compliance with established items and labor yields for the structural element of plates and slabs, where the results were reflected. Excel Software was used to process the collected data, make tables and figures. With this, it was established that the Value Stream Mapping methodology; has the times with optimal ranges close to the antecedent values, fulfillment of activities between [91% - 100%] and a labor performance between [7%-12%], found in batches of the structural elements of slabs and plates; on the other hand, the Last Planner methodology has the times with optimal ranges far from the antecedent values , fulfillment of activities between [80% - 91%] and a labor yield between [12%-17%], found in items of the structural elements of study. In conclusion, the Value Stream Mapping methodology has a higher rate of optimization of the workforce since the established parameters are generating better value ranges.
