This research focuses on a main objective, which is to determine the benefits with the proposal of the development of a multicriteria matrix for the analysis of the most suitable alternative line in road works -: via avoidance of SAN MARCOS - CAJAMARCA, where to demonstrate that the Cost should not be the only parameter analyzed, a multicriteria analysis has been developed for the choice of the new line of the bypass road of the City of San Marcos, for this reason the present investigation will show results that solve our problem and satisfy the hypothesis raised. The applied methodology will be descriptive - comparative; thus also its quantitative correlational non-experimental research design, whose purpose is applied to a feasible project. Population 1: La Vía Evitamiento de San Marcos - Cajamarca and Population 2: 35 certified civil engineers with experience in civil works, being sample 1: La Vía Evitamiento de San Marcos - Cajamarca Km 0 + 000 - Km 5 + 600 and sample 2: according to the convenience of the researcher, since there were few respondents, the same amount of the population was taken, that is, 35 collegiate civil engineers with experience in road works. The technique of which is direct observation, survey, and the instrument used are the observation and questionnaire cards. The statistical analysis used has been descriptive, where it is appreciated that, by means of tables and figures, comparing the cost and time, identifying the most viable Alternative No. 2, to choose Alternative No. 1 for the lower cost of work, it would have been declared unviable at the end of the project, due to social and environmental conflicts identified during the development of the final study.
