The objective of the research was based on determining the relationship between the improvement of ergonomic conditions and the optimization of productivity in workers in the paper cutting area of a company in the industrial graphics sector, the applied methodology is quantitative approach pre-experimental design. The population was made up of data from 28 work orders in relation to the productivity of workers in the cutting area, the sample being of the stratified type. The instrument applied was the observation sheet of the LEST method, which is an instrument validated by the Laboratory of Labor Economics and Sociology (LEST), a global analysis that relates: physical environment, physical load, mental load, psychosocial aspects, times of work, in which the data will be collected for later analysis. The data analysis was carried out through a quantitative analysis, using the SPSS software and Microsoft Excel, in this way the presentation was made in tables, graphs and with this information the interpretation of the results was carried out. Likewise, for the inferential analysis, the Spearman Rho statistical test was used, which was used for the verification of hypotheses. The results showed that the improvements in ergonomic conditions optimize productivity in the paper cutting area of a company in the industrial graphics sector, in the pre and post test an 8.67% improvement in productivity was observed, in addition a sig . = 0.000 <0.05 therefore the null hypothesis was rejected and the alternative hypothesis was accepted.
