This research focuses on a main objective, which is to carry out a comparative analysis according to costs, times and performance between formal homes with the CDM system and informal homes, Urb. Las Fresas, Puente Piedra. Lima 2020. The applied methodology will be of a quantitative - comparative type; so also, its research design, not experimental - transversal. The table of operationalization of variables was used, the “formal and informal labor for housing construction“ was obtained as a dependent variable, which, through a technical observation sheet “Labor performance“, values the quality of labor, technical aspects of the work performed, performance, equipment and cost, focused on a sample of 364 homes of informal and formal construction that make up the urbanization of the strawberries of the Puente Piedra district. The results of the data were developed through tables and graphs to compare the differences according to the indicators of efficiency, cost and time, and thus it was determined that the standardized modulation of the houses with the CDM system allows saving on materials in contrast to self-construction. Also, the construction processes under a defined schedule, allow to reduce operating costs. Consequently, by presenting a quality product at a cost below those expected in the market, it will become attractive to the intended audience.
